Claims / Repairs of Zippo Products

 

Briefly, what is covered:

Zippo Gasoline + Butane Lighters - Perpetual Warranty- No need to send/bring purchase receipt/stamped warranty card

The surface is not guaranteed, but should a motif, contrary to expectations, crack within the first 2 years, we will repair the damage if a valid customer receipt is included.

Remember to check that you don't just need to change the stone.

All other Zippo products - No extraordinary warranty - Always include customer receipt/stamped warranty card 

All other Zippo products are covered under the 2-year warranty on manufacturing defects and deficiencies 

How to make a complaint about your Zippo product:

a) For the first 2 years from the date of purchase, all complaints/repairs are between you and the store where the product was purchased (physical store, online store, foreign online store - always) - therefore always go back to the place where you purchased the product and they must help you, bring the receipt or stamped warranty card.

b) After the first 2 years, you can contact us or send products with extraordinary warranties directly to us. Products that do not have a perpetual warranty (read about each product's warranty here) must be accompanied by a valid customer receipt, stamped warranty card or delivery note.

It may be necessary to exchange the product for a new one if we are unable to repair it and we reserve the right to discontinue the product and replace it with an equivalent product provided by Zippo Manufacturing Co.

Repair/complaint times

Petrol lighters are repaired at our authorized workshop in Kvistgård and should, all other things being equal, be returned within 14 days, with reservations for holidays and peak periods such as holidays etc. In rare cases, we cannot repair the damage ourselves and are forced to send it abroad and then it can take up to 4 weeks.

Butane lighters are repaired in Germany at the European repair center, repair time is approximately 4 weeks.

Other Zippo products are repaired within 14 days.
