The Weapons Act
A new knife law came into force on July 1, 2016 and single-handed knives are no longer categorized as particularly dangerous.
The new knife law states:
§ 1. Knives and blank weapons etc. may not be carried or possessed in public places, educational institutions, youth clubs, recreational facilities and the like, unless it is done in the course of business or for use in hunting, angling or sporting activities or for another similar recognized purpose.
