Right of complaint

According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, you have a 24-month right of complaint for online purchases. This means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or reduced in price, depending on the specific situation, up to 24 months after your purchase. This requires that the claim is justified and that the defect has not been caused by defects, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation, poor maintenance, violence or unauthorized intervention. Surface treatment is also not covered. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the goods. If a complaint is made within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.

For items purchased on Zippo.dk, we will refund reasonable shipping costs you may incur in connection with the return of the defective item when the complaint is justified. We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery.

When you return the item, please include the completed return paperwork that comes with the delivery note in the package. This is not a requirement, but it facilitates our processing and minimizes the time for the complaint on a defective item. Always remember to return the item in proper packaging and get a receipt for shipment so that we can refund your shipping costs.
